vintage pyrex LOVE. {gosh. that’s good.}

With over 50 patterns & an amazing color palate, how can you go wrong with a good mix of vintage PYREX?  It’s stood the test of time you can’t deny it’s still as good-looking as it was in the 70s.

Pyrex was invented in 1913, when Bessie Littlejohn, the wife of the vice president of Corning Glass Works, asked her husband to bring home something from the factory that could be used as a piece of oven-safe cookware. Of course, her husband listened……and was inspired by her suggestion.  The company’s scientists began developing a new line of cookware. Two years later, Corning Glass Works released a complete line of glass baking dishes. Pyrex products are still sold today in many stores….but the best of Pyrex can be found in your local thrift shoppes and on etsy.  A small offering of Pyrex can be found in our etsy shoppe…..images found via Pinterest.
