This little beauty required serious elbow grease, sanding & several coats of paint but we think we’ve transformed her from damaged to darling. After the initial repair of some serious veneer issues & hard core sanding of the nasty bits on it’s top, this sweet piece of furniture is fit for those pretty linens, darling sweaters or a pile of jeans.

Unfortunately, we’re not offering this piece in our Etsy shoppe. However, if you have a piece you’d like painted, just let us know.
We’d like to thank our friend Barb Blair from Knack Studios for her inspiration and wonderful tutorials. Thanks Barb! We dig you.

this is beautiful!!! i LOVE the color! tell me about the “s” too! super cute!
Hey Darcy…thanks for the compliments! This was such a fun piece to work on. I almost passed on buying it at a local estate sale because the damage on the top & sides was so bad. After the repairs were made, I chose the color & got to painting. We’ll be using this for our little Sofie’s room once our new house is built (fingers crossed). As for the “s”, I wanted to do something with that fun frame so I just made a little cardboard “s”, added some padding with quilting batting & then wrapped it in some great fabric that I had on hand. I love vintage linens & this was from an old sheet. Want one for Cleo? I could also make it bigger and into a tack board. That would be fun too.
Thanks for the shout out! Your piece looks wonderful!
